L.A. Lops Rabbitry: Adoption Terms & Sales Policy
**By Purchasing our Hollands you agree to our adoption terms and sales policy**
We raise pedigreed Holland Lops located in Medina Ohio. The price of our rabbits range and will depend on age, color, confirmation, and pedigree. Holland Lops are dwarf rabbits that weigh 2-4lbs full grown. They are smaller than any other Lop eared rabbit. Life expectancy of a Holland Lop is usually between 7-12 years.
The health of our Hollands is a top priority which is why we are a closed rabbitry. Our Hollands are healthy at the time of sale (to the best of our knowledge) as we would never sell a rabbit showing signs of illness. We are not responsible for a Holland's health after it leaves. Please read the care sheet provided thoroughly to make sure you are caring for your new bunny adequately and without common mistakes. We are not responsible for any vet costs after the rabbit has been sold.
Our Hollands come with a bag of transition pellets, hay, pedigree, and care sheet explaining the basics. Please keep in mind that the color and sex of a young Holland can be difficult to determine sometimes, but we do our best to be correct. Please recheck your rabbit before you leave with it as we do not guarantee sex or color.
A $50 non-refundable deposit is needed to hold your Holland. We accept Chase Pay ([email protected]) or Venmo @Miranda-Misenko. The remainder of your deposit is due in cash the day you pick up. The deposit is non-transferable & a pick up time needs to be made when the deposit is placed and must be within 7 days of the "available date" posted on the Holland's profile. Our pickup location is at Dance d’ Elegance in Medina Ohio: 750 E Washington St. We park on the side to the left of the building. You need to bring your own carrier to transport your rabbit home. Please be on time for pickup. We will wait 30 minutes past the arranged pickup time. If you do not show, your deposit becomes forfeited.
The available date posted on a Hollands profile reflects when the Holland is 8 weeks of age. We make sure babies are eating adequately on their own and ready for their new home before leaving for future adoptive families. We will never sell a Holland that is showing signs of fading or difficulty adapting when it comes to weaning and eating on its own.
Pending: An inquiry has been made about the Holland showing interest and we are waiting to receive a deposit. We will leave a rabbit pending for 12 hours. If no deposit has been received we will move on to the next potential adopter in line.
Hold: A non-refundable $50 deposit has been made to hold the Holland until they are ready for their new home.
Adopted: A full non-refundable payment has been made on the Holland Lop and they are no longer available.
All of our babies are youth, raised and handled daily. However, we do not make any guarantees on show, breeding, future disqualifications, future faults, or temperaments.
All of our Hollands are fully pedigreed & will carry the name **L.A's** as part of their name. It cannot be dropped or changed into your name otherwise the pedigree will be considered void. You can name your rabbit anything you prefer but it must have **L.A.'s** in front of its name on the pedigree. If the pedigree comes with a name already on it, it must stay but you may call the rabbit whatever you decide. Pedigrees are available at request only and are not automatic. If you decide you’d like a pedigree mailed to you after your pick up date a $25 fee does apply.
We reserve the right to refuse an adoption if we feel that the individual may be unfit to care for one of our Hollands. If a deposit has been made this is the only circumstance that would allow for a full refund.
You must be 18 years of age or have permission from a parent to purchase one of our Hollands. All adoptions are final.
In the event that you can no longer take care of your rabbit we will be more than happy to take it back. No refunds will be issued. You will need to supply a cage as we do not keep empty cages in our rabbitry and this will be less stressful on the rabbit while we look for a new home.
